How your details are handled.
This notice explains what we collect when you send a request, how it is used, and who receives it.
What we collect
The kind of electrical work you need, your ZIP code, when you would like it done, your name and phone number, and — only if you choose to add them — your email address, property type, preferred availability, and a short description of the job. We also record the time you sent it, a one-way hashed form of your network address, and, if you arrived from a campaign link, the campaign labels in that link. Those labels never contain your personal details.
Who operates this service
Home Current is a request service operated by LocalLeadIQ. It helps homeowners and businesses describe planned electrical work. It does not perform electrical work, and it is not an electrician.
How your details are used
Our team reads and reviews every request, contacts you about it, and checks whether an electrician is available for the job. We do not use your details for marketing. If you give us an email address, we send you one receipt email confirming what you sent and your reference — nothing else, and no text messages.
Who receives your details
When you send a request, no electrician has been assigned to it. Your request is stored privately and reviewed by our team first. If we can match it with an available electrician, we share it with that one electrician so they can contact you about this request. Electricians who take on a request pay LocalLeadIQ for it. Your details are not sold to a list of bidders.
Where we currently work
Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, within about 100 miles of Philadelphia. We screen the ZIP code you enter against that region using published ZIP-code centre points, which describe an area rather than a specific address, so we confirm the exact job location with you when we follow up.
The permission you give
The checkbox on the form says: “I agree that Home Current may contact me about this request, and — if it can be matched with an available electrician — may share these details with one electrician so they can contact me about the work, a quote, and possible appointment times. This permission covers this request only, not marketing.” It covers this request only.
Cost, quotes, and hiring
Sending a request is free and there is no obligation. An electrician is not guaranteed, and sending a request does not book anything. The electrician provides the quote, and you decide whether to hire them. A visit happens only once you and the electrician agree on a time.
Service providers
Website hosting, database, and private email-delivery providers process your request so that it can be stored and delivered securely.
Keeping and removing details
Requests are kept while they are being followed up and while the record remains useful to the service and any receiving electrician. No fixed retention period is set. You can ask us to delete your details using the contact form on this website.
Website measurement
We record a small count of page views and form starts so we can see whether the page works. Those records hold only the page address on this site, the type of event, the referring website domain, any plain campaign label, and short-lived scrambled codes made from your network address with a private key that changes daily. We never store the network address itself, and those codes group activity roughly for a day rather than identifying a person. They never contain your name, contact details, or anything you typed into the form.
